I don't know if this a real deal or not, but I saw this trailer about a remake of Ed Wood Jr.'s classic scifi abomination, Plan 9 From Outer Space. This new version looks like it's just going to be another addition to the current popular trend of zombie movies. The production value looks like the budget for making the promo was more than what Wood had for his entire movie.

In the good old days of classic animation, Warner Bros. cranked out many legendary characters from their cartoon factory. Including: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Porky Pig. They also made animation shorts that featured caricatures of famous celebrities. Here is one such animation short. Canine Canteen gives a tip of the hat to the Hollywood Canteen that was a big night spot for servicemen from all military branches.

I thought "Zeppelin vs. Pterodactyls" was just an idea that was floated by Hammer Films in 1971 and never developed. It turns out Hammer was just reviving this forgotten Republic Pictures serial from 1936.

Watch for tiny parts by Bela Lugosi, Noah Beery, John Wayne, Ralph Byrd, John King, the Wilhelm Scream and Terence Stamp.

Solomon Kane, the Puritan do-gooder from the pen of Robert E. Howard, is finally coming to the big screen, and he is doing so with a vengeance. Here is the official trailer for the film which stars James Purefoy as the brooding, evil destroying Kane.
Hopefully this movie will dig deep into the reasons for Kane's existence as a hunter of evil. We'll just have to wait and see.

Most serial devotees have their favorites and share different opinions. I had read at one website, a glowing review of HOLT OF THE SECRET SERVICE.
